We started out the trip in Zions. It is very beautiful there this time of year. Lots of snow in the shade, and no snow in the sunny areas. The Aussie girl decided to baptize my camera in a pond without the use of proper authority. That was sad to see a completely submerged camera at the bottom of a pond at the base of a waterfall. Surprisingly a few days later my camera has dried out and seems to be functioning perfectly again.
Vegas was ok. It was filled with all kinds of smut and interesting people to watch. We stayed at Circus Circus. Somehow I managed to not even gamble at all. I wanted to drop a few dollars, but never got around to it.
The funnest thing I did was go country line dancing at some club. There I met up with a
friend from Las Vegas, and her and her friend showed Lucais and I a few moves. I felt like a broken hip-hop machine out there trying to bust cou
ntry dance moves. Eventually I learned one dance. I now have a greater understanding and respect for those who do the country dancing. It is much harder than it looks.
On the way home we stopped in a couple different cities to visit a mission buddy of Lucais and a mission friend of mine. It was a lot of fun catching up with old friends. We visited Zions one more time on the way back home to do a couple more hikes. It was a lot of fun. The weekend blew by way too fast.
